Up for sale is an Estate Auction find from a collection of hard to find inlay pieces, an Antique 1920's Art Deco Natural Lapis Lazuli, Tiger's Eye, Red Jasper & Malachite Intarsia Inlay 10k Solid White Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This Antique 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid White Gold ring is set with a LARGE Fantastic 17.5x12.5mm Lapis Lazuli Tiger's Eye Red Jasper & Malachite RARE Intarsia Inlay Gemstone It is made by precise fitting together of polished gemstones into a single multi gemstone unit. This ring has a large face at just under 1 inch long including the bezel frame. This INLAY GEMSTONE is a TRUE WORK of ART. The BLUE gemstones are Lapis Lazuli. Lapis Lazuli was once used to manufacture blue artistic paints before 1834. Many of the worlds masterpieces we painted using Lapis based blues. Quality Lapis is only found in Afghanistan and Egypt. Many ancient cultures believed that lapis enhanced self-expression. The green gemstone that divided the other gemstones is Natural Malachite. Malachite has been carved into art and worn as jewelry for thousands of years. The golden gemstones are Tiger's Eye. Tiger's Eye is a crystal with beautiful bands of yellow-golden color throughout. The red gemstones are Red Jasper. The red color comes from oxidized iron deposits in the silica based gem. The black lines in the jasper are not cracks but mineral inclusions. This inlay gemstone is a Rectangular Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. All the gemstones in this intarsia are guaranteed to be genuine and Earth-Mined. This intarsia gemstone is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any cracks, nicks, chips or scratches. This Solid 10k White Gold Setting has beautifully ornate shoulder details. The dark areas on the gold in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections due to the difficulty in photographing the highly polished white gold. This ring is fully hallmarked "10k" and tests as and is guaranteed to be Solid Gold. (Again this ring is guaranteed to be Solid Gold not plated or layered) Antique rings are not always exactly the karat number marked in the ring.
