Up for sale is a recent find from a large collection of Turquoise pieces acquired at Auction, a Vintage 1940's SIGNED DASON Davidson & Sons of New York Masonic Symbol Set in Robin's Egg Blue Natural Turquoise 10k Solid Yellow Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This Vintage 1940's SIGNED DASON Davidson & Sons of New York 10k Solid Yellow Gold ring is set with a Fantastic 10x8mm Natural Turquoise cabochon set with a Yellow Gold Masonic Square & Compass. The Solid Yellow Gold Masonic Square & Compass is detailed in blue enamel. This turquoise has been drilled and the Masonic symbol has been set in the turquoise with a post not simply applied to the top. This Turquoise is natural and not color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. This Turquoise is a FANTASTIC ROBIN'S EGG BLUE. This Turquoise is a Rectangular Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This Turquoise is in MINT PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. This ring also features Cast Masonic Plumb and Trowel Symbols in the shoulders of the setting. This is stamped "Dason" the trademark used by Davidson & Sons, New York established in 1936. Early and Mid-Century Dason pieces have become collectible and highly sought after. The dark areas on the gold in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections due to the difficulty in photographing the highly polished gold.
