Up for sale is the second ring from a pair of similar rings from a recent Estate auction, an Antique 1920's Art Deco 12ct Cushion Cut Blue Spinel Handmade 10k Solid Yellow Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This Antique 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid Yellow Gold Men's Ring is set with an Amazing LARGE 12ct 16x14mm Cushion Cut Blue Spinel with the most Vibrant DEEP BLUE COLOR and NEAR PERFECT CLARITY. This spinel has SUPERB LUSTER. This spinel is a Cushion Cut with a Faceted Top that sparkles like a disco ball in the light. The Spinel Gemstone has a storied history because famous rubies & sapphires in crown jewels around the world are actually spinels. The most famous is the Black Prince's ruby, was actually a fantastic 170-carat red spinel that now adorns the Imperial State Crown of England in the British Crown Jewels. The spinel is now a treasured gemstone on its own, spinel is a favorite of gem dealers and collectors because if its brilliance, hardness and wide range of spectacular colors. This gemstone tests as a spinel on a Presidium Gem Tester and a reflectometer and is a very high quality lab grown spinel.
