Up for sale is a recent Auction find, an Antique 1920's Art Deco 3ct Window Pane Cut Ruby Hand Engraved & Milgrained 10k Solid Yellow Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This Original Antique 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid Yellow Gold ring is set with a Amazing 3ct 9.5x7.5mm Ruby with the most Vibrant COLOR and SUPERB CLARITY & LUSTER. This ruby is an Unusual Window Pane Cut Ruby beautifully beveled edges. A window pane cut has a flat low profile top with an exquisitely faceted underside. This keeps the gemstone low in the setting protecting it from damage. The gemstone tests as a ruby on a Presidium Gem Tester and a reflectometer but still could be a very high quality lab grown ruby. The gemstone has not been removed from the setting for testing so we cannot say definitively it is a natural ruby as it is most likely a very high quality lab grown ruby. A Lab Grown Ruby has the exact same physical, optical, and chemical properties of a Natural Ruby meaning it is as hard and scratch resistant. This Ruby is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any chips, nicks, cracks, or scratches. This ruby is held securely by a complete bezel setting. This classic 1920's Art Deco ring also has fantastic Hand Engraved & Milgrained details on the shoulders of the setting and around the bezel. Milgrain details look so beautiful, appealing and interesting because the beaded pattern is able to make the area resemble the edge of a coin. A specialized jeweler's hand tool is used to create interesting texture that is said to resemble tiny beading or embroidery. The dark areas on the gold in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections due to the difficulty in photographing the highly polished gold. This ring is fully hallmarked "10k" and tests as and is guaranteed to be 10k Solid Gold.
