Up for sale is a recent find from a large collection of Turquoise pieces acquired at Auction, an Antique 1920's Art Deco Kingman Mine RARE Water Web Cushion Cut Natural Turquoise Intarsia Inlay 10k Solid Yellow Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This Antique 1920's Art Deco Solid Yellow Gold Men's Ring is set with an Amazing LARGE 16x14mm Kingman Mine RARE Water Web Cushion Cut Natural Turquoise Intarsia Inlay. Intarsia is made by precise fitting together of polished gemstones into a single multi gemstone unit. All the turquoise in this intarsia is both Genuine & Natural and guaranteed as such, This gemstone is made up of three different colors of Natural Kingman Mine Turquoise. The Kingman mine in northwestern Arizona is one of the largest turquoise mines. This Kingman is the very RARE Water Web variety and in three colors. A sky blue on the left with a more vivid blue center and an aqua green on the right. The matrix pattern known as Water Web is beautiful and highly prized. In the late 1880’s to the early 1900’s, Kingman Turquoise was mined by the Aztec Turquoise Co., the Los Angeles Gem Co., Arizona Turquoise Co., Southwest Turquoise Co. and Mineral Park Turquoise Co. The Kingman mine re-opened in September 2004 after being closed in the 1970’s. This Turquoise Inlay gemstone is Cushion-Shaped Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This turquoise is in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION free of any scratches, cracks, or breaks. This classic ring has ornate fluted shoulder details. The interior of the ring is stamped "PAT.FEB.23.1926" which means the patent date of the ring is February 23 of 1926. This ring is fully marked "10k" and tests as and is guaranteed to be 10k solid gold.
