Up for sale is an Estate Auction find from a collection of hard to find inlay pieces, an Antique 1920's Art Deco Natural Lapis Lazuli, Tiger's Eye, Red Jasper & Malachite Intarsia Inlay 10k Solid Yellow Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This Antique 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid Yellow Gold ring is set with a Fantastic 13x12.5mm Lapis Lazuli Tiger's Eye Red Jasper & Malachite RARE Intarsia Inlay Gemstone It is made by precise fitting together of polished gemstones into a single multi gemstone unit. All the gemstones in this intarsia are both Genuine & Natural and guaranteed as such. This INLAY GEMSTONE is a TRUE WORK of ART. The VIVID BLUE gemstones are Natural Lapis Lazuli. Lapis Lazuli was once used to manufacture blue artistic paints before 1834. Many of the worlds masterpieces we painted using Lapis based blues. This high quality Lapis is only found in Afghanistan and Egypt. Many ancient cultures believed that lapis enhanced self-expression. The green gemstones both light and dark are Natural Malachite. Malachite has been carved into art and worn as jewelry for thousands of years. The golden gemstones are Natural Tiger's Eye. Tiger's Eye is a crystal with beautiful bands of yellow-golden color throughout. The red gemstones are Red Jasper. The red color comes from oxidized iron deposits in the silica based gem. The entire intarsia gemstone is on a base of onyx. This inlay gemstone is a Cushion-Shaped Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This intarsia gemstone is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any cracks, nicks, chips or scratches. This classic ring also has great fluted shoulder details. The dark areas on the gold in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections due to the difficulty in photographing the highly polished gold.
