Up for sale is a recent Estate Auction find, a HEAVY Antique 1920's Art Deco LARGE 10ct GOLDEN SAPPHIRE 10k Solid Yellow Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This 8.4 Gram (0.30 Ounce) Whopping Almost 1/3 Ounce Antique 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid Yellow Gold ring is set with a Beautiful LARGE 10ct 14x12mm Sapphire with amazing GOLDEN COLOR and NEAR PERFECT CLARITY. This sapphire has AMAZING LUSTER. This sapphire is an Unusual Rectangular Peaked Cut with parallel facets that really sparkle in the light. The gemstone tests as a sapphire on a Presidium Gem Tester and a reflectometer but still could be a very high quality lab grown sapphire. This gemstone has not been removed from the setting for testing so we cannot say definitively it is a natural sapphire as it is most likely a very high quality lab grown sapphire. A Lab Grown Sapphire has the exact same physical, optical, and chemical properties of a Natural Sapphire meaning it is as hard and scratch resistant. This turquoise is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any cracks, nicks, scratches, or chips. This classic ring also has fantastic concave shoulder details that are hand engraved with a Florentine finish. A Florentine finish is a hand engraved textured surface consisting if tiny intersecting sets of parallel lines. This is a HEAVY and Substantial 8.4 Gram (0.30 Ounce) Whopping Almost 1/3 Ounce 10k Solid Gold Ring. The dark areas on the gold in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections due to the difficulty in photographing the highly polished gold.
