Up for sale is a recent Auction find, an Antique 1920's Art Deco LARGE 12ct Ruby & Two Diamond Hand Engraved 10k Solid White Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL NEAR MINT CONDITION. This Antique 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid White Gold ring is set with a Beautiful LARGE 12ct 16x12mm Ruby with amazing DEEP RED COLOR and NEAR PERFECT CLARITY. This ruby has FANTASTIC LUSTER. This ruby is a rectangular smooth top Cabochon Cut and really catches the light. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. The gemstone tests as a ruby on a Presidium Gem Tester and a reflectometer and is most likely very high quality lab grown ruby. This gemstone has not been removed from the setting for testing so we cannot say definitively it is a natural ruby as it is most likely a very high quality lab grown ruby. A Lab Grown Ruby has the exact same physical, optical, and chemical properties of a Natural Ruby meaning it is as hard and scratch resistant. The waves and swirls on the ruby in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections because the polished surface is difficult to photograph. This ring also features a Two 1.5mm Natural & Genuine Diamonds expertly bead set in triangular mounts. These are not simple diamond chips but very nice faceted round diamonds. Both Diamonds have superb clarity and color. As far as clarity both are in the VS range because we can see a few tiny inclusions under 10x magnification. There are no flaws visible to the naked eye. As far as color it is hard to say because they are mounted in white gold reflective white gold mounts so our best estimate is that they are in the F-G color range. Both Diamonds are guaranteed to be both Genuine & Natural. The ruby and both diamonds are in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any chips, nicks, cracks, or scratches. This Classic 1920's ring has hand engraved parallel line shoulder details.This ring has a great bracketed setting designed to allow light into the ruby. The dark areas on the gold in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections due to the difficulty in photographing the highly polished gold. This ring is fully hallmarked "10k" and tests as and is guaranteedto be 10k Solid Gold. (Again this ring is guaranteedto be Solid Gold notplated or layered) This ring is in EXCEPTIONAL NEAR MINT CONDITION will arrive ready to wear.
