Up for sale is a recent Auction find, an Antique 1920's Art Deco LARGE BRIGHT RAINBOW RARE Natural Opal & Two Diamond 10k Solid Yellow & White Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL NEAR MINT CONDITION. This Antique 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid Yellow & White Gold ring is set with a Fantastic LARGE Natural TRUE RAINBOW Opal Triplet with BRIGHT RARE RED/ORANGE FIRE with ELECTRIC GREEN & BLUE FIRE and FLASHES OF GOLDEN & PURPLE FIRE. Again this has RAINBOW fire, that is visible across the opal. This is one of the more beautiful & bright opals we have had the opportunity to offer. Also the luster of this opal is marvelous. Many opals only exhibit a couple of colors while this fantastic opal displays a RAINBOW of colors. The fire in this opal changes depending on the viewing angle. As with all opals it is the most vivid in sunlight or full spectrum lighting. This is a triplet opal where the brightest genuine & natural solid opal is mounted on backing of onyx and then covered with a protective clear natural quartz crystal cap. We took quite a few photos of this stunning opal under different lighting conditions to give an idea of the abundance and brightness of the fire and where it occurs. The waves and swirls on the opal in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections as the polished surface is difficult to photograph. This Opal is a Rectangular Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted This ring also features a Two 2mm Natural & Genuine Diamonds expertly bead set in triangular white gold mounts. Both Diamonds have nice color and good clarity. Both Diamonds are guaranteed to be both Genuine & Natural. The opal and both diamonds are in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any chips, nicks, cracks, or scratches. This Classic 1920's ring has great raised column shoulder details. This ring has a great bracketed setting designed to allow light into the opal. The dark areas on the gold in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections due to the difficulty in photographing the highly polished gold. This ring is marked "10k" and tests as and is guaranteed to be 10k Solid Gold.
