Up for sale is a recent Estate Auction find, an Antique 1920's Art Deco LARGE Natural RAINBOW Opal 10k Solid Yellow Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This Heavy 8.0 Gram (0.28 Ounce) Over 1/4 Ounce Antique 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid Yellow Gold ring is set with a BEAUTIFUL LARGE 18x13mm Natural RAINBOW Opal. This All Natural Opal has not been treated or color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. This is a solid natural opal that has been inlaid into an onyx cabochon. The border of onyx frames the opal beautifully, We took quite a few photos of this opal under different lighting conditions to give an idea of the abundance and brightness of the fire and where it occurs. The waves and swirls on the opal in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections as the polished surface is difficult to photograph. This Opal/Onyx Inlay is a Oval Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This opal is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any cracks, scratches, or chips. This classic 1920's Art Deco ring also has beautifully ornate stepped bezel and fluted shoulder details. This is a HEAVY and Substantial 8.0 Gram (0.28 Ounce) Over 1/4 Ounce 10k Solid Gold Ring.
