Up for sale is a recent find from a large collection of Turquoise pieces acquired at Auction, an Antique 1920's Art Deco Natural BEAUTIFUL ORANGE MATRIX Kingman Mine Turquoise Hand Engraved Solid Sterling Silver & 10k Gold Men's Ring. This HEAVY 9.9 Gram (0.35 Ounce) Over 1/3 Ounce Antique 1920's Art Deco Solid Sterling Silver & 10k Gold Men's Ring is set with a Stunning LARGE 16x12mm BEAUTIFUL ORANGE Matrix Natural Kingman Turquoise cabochon. This Turquoise is natural and not color enhanced in any way. The Kingman mine in northwestern Arizona is one of the largest turquoise mines. Kingman blue is common, this Kingman is a lighter blue with a FANTASTIC ORANGE Matrix not commonly found in most Kingman Turquoise. Natural Kingman is highly collectible. In the late 1880’s to the early 1900’s, Kingman Turquoise was mined by the Aztec Turquoise Co., the Los Angeles Gem Co., Arizona Turquoise Co., Southwest Turquoise Co. and Mineral Park Turquoise Co. The Kingman mine re-opened in September 2004 after being closed in the 1970’s. This Turquoise is a Domed Rectangular Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This turquoise is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. This classic ring is a Solid Sterling Silver Setting has 10k gold vermeil accented sides with Hand Engraved shoulder details. This is a HEAVY and Substantial 9.9 Gram (0.35 Ounce) Over 1/3 Ounce Ring. The darker oil slick look in the side grooved details is the natural patina of the ring that only comes with age. If you would like us to polish the ring further to remove this patina just let us know, it is no problem at all. This ring is hallmarked "Sterling" (the "10k" hallmark has worn away at some point) and tests as and is guaranteed to be Solid Sterling Silver with 10k gold vermeil accents. (Again this ring is guaranteed to be Solid Sterling Silver not plated or layered) Aside from a little gold detail wear this ring is otherwise in GOOD CONDITION and will arrive ready to wear.
