This Antique 1920's Art Deco Solid Sterling Silver & 10k Gold Ring is set with a Stunning 14x12mm VERY RARE Natural Turquoise Intarsia Inlay Gemstone. Intarsia is made by precise fitting together of polished gemstones into a single multi gemstone unit. All the turquoise in this intarsia is both Genuine & Natural and guaranteed as such. This Turquoise inlay gemstone is made up of two types of Turquoise from different regions and mines. The middle turquoise is RARE ORANGE Matrix Natural Kingman Turquoise. The Kingman mine in northwestern Arizona is one of the largest turquoise mines. Kingman blue is common, this Kingman is an OCEAN BLUE/GREEN with an AMAZING RARE ORANGE Matrix not commonly found in most Kingman Turquoise. Natural Kingman is highly collectible. In the late 1880’s to the early 1900’s, Kingman Turquoise was mined by the Aztec Turquoise Co., the Los Angeles Gem Co., Arizona Turquoise Co., Southwest Turquoise Co. and Mineral Park Turquoise Co. The Kingman mine re-opened in September 2004 after being closed in the 1970’s. The top and bottom edges are stripes of Mojave Green Turquoise. This Turquoise Inlay gemstone is a Rectangular Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This is all natural Turquoise that is not color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. The Turquoise Intarsia gemstone is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION and is free of any breaks, chips or scratches. This Solid Sterling Silver Setting has well worn 10k Gold Vermeil Accents. This Classic Ring has Hand Milgrained Details around the bezel. Milgrain edging looks so beautiful, appealing and interesting because the beaded patterns is able to make the ring’s edge resemble the edge of a coin. A specialized jeweler's hand tool is used to create interesting texture that is said to resemble tiny beading. The darker oil slick look in the details and recessed areas is the natural patina of the ring that only comes with age. If you would like us to polish the ring further to remove this patina just let us know, it is no problem at all. This Solid Sterling Silver Setting has well worn 10k Gold Vermeil Accents with Classic 1920's Deco Architectural Shoulder Details. This rings has a small worn area that is now a perforation (see the red arrow in photo #11) on the shoulders and the gold surface accents on the shoulders have worn away for the most part.
