Up for sale is recent Estate Auction find, an Antique 1920's Art Deco SIGNED Ostby & Barton Natural RARE SWIRLING /ORANGE MATRIX Kingman Mine Turquoise Solid Sterling Silver Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This Antique 1920's Art Deco SIGNED Ostby & Barton Solid Sterling Silver ring is set with a Fantastic 14x10mm STUNNING RARE ORANGE SWIRLING Matrix Natural Kingman Turquoise cabochon. This Turquoise is natural and not color enhanced in any way. The Kingman mine in northwestern Arizona is one of the largest turquoise mines. Kingman blue is common, this Kingman is a lighter blue with AMAZING RARE ORANGE SWIRLING Matrix not commonly found in most Turquoise. Natural Kingman is highly collectible. In the late 1880’s to the early 1900’s, Kingman Turquoise was mined by the Aztec Turquoise Co., the Los Angeles Gem Co., Arizona Turquoise Co., Southwest Turquoise Co. and Mineral Park Turquoise Co. The Kingman mine re-opened in September 2004 after being closed in the 1970’s. This Turquoise is a Rectangular Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This Turquoise is in MINT PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. The interior of the ring is also fully hallmarked with an "OB" the maker's mark for Ostby & Barton an extremely collectible and sought after vintage brand. Ostby & Barton, Providence R.I.
