Up for sale is a recent Auction find, an ORNATE Antique 1920's Art Deco RARE Natural Banded Red Agate 10k Solid Yellow Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL NEAR MINT CONDITION. This Antique 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid White Gold ring is set with a Stunning 16x12mm Natural Banded Red Agate Gemstone. Agate is a variety of chalcedony formed from layers of quartz which usually show varicolored bands. It usually occurs as rounded nodules or veins. Tiny quartz crystals form within the stone and add to the beauty and uniqueness of individual stones. Agate with RED/ORANGE bands is considered rare and this agate has beautiful tiny window formation of white/clear Quartz. This is all natural Agate that is not color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. This Agate is a Rectangular Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This agate is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION and is free of any chips, nicks, cracks or scratches. This Ornate 1920's Art Deco ring also has beautiful concave teardrop shoulder details. The dark areas on the white gold in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections due to the difficulty in photographing the highly polished gold. This ring is hallmarked "10k" and tests as and is guaranteed to be 10k Solid Gold.
