This silver ore bearing quartz is all natural and guaranteed as such. This natural quartz has BEAUTIFUL GLEAMING DEPOSITS of SILVER ORE. Silver Ore Bearing Quartz is one of the rarest forms of natural silver. Specimens of native Silver Ore Bearing quartz are rare because the previous miners crushed and smelted all of the silver and copper ore that they mined. Many fine specimens were processed and destroyed. This silver ore is made up of Silver, Nickel, Copper, Iron, & Cobalt. The natural veins of silver ore were formed by extreme pressure deep within the earth millions of years ago. This Silver Ore in Quartz is a Rectangular Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This Silver in Quartz Gemstone is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION and is free of any chips, nicks, or cracks. The interior of the ring stamped "OB" which is the hallmark for Ostby & Barton an extremely collectible and sought after vintage brand. Ostby & Barton, Providence R.I. The business was established in 1879 by Englehart C. Ostby and Nathan B. Barton. Ostby perished in the Titanic disaster while his daughter Helen made it to a lifeboat and survived. The company went on to become one of the most famous jewelry companies in the world. Ostby & Barton Jewelry is now an extremely collectible and highly sought after vintage brand. This Solid Sterling Silver Setting has very detailed 10k Gold vermeil accents with Classic 1920's Deco Architectural Shoulder Details. This is a smaller scale men's ring so please use the measurements in the description and the explanation of the measurements given below along with the scale photo (photo #12) to determine the size and scale of the ring.
