Up for sale is a find from a large collection of mineral and fossil related pieces acquired at Auction, an Antique 1920's Art Deco VERY RARE Natural Gold in Quartz Hand Engraved Florentine 10k Solid Yellow Gold Men's Ring in MINT PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION. This Antique 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid Yellow Solid Gold ring is set with a STUNNING 14x12mm VERY RARE Gold Bearing Quartz gemstone. This gold bearing quartz is all natural and guaranteed as such. This natural quartz has Gleaming Seams of Gold. Gold Bearing Quartz is one of the world's rarest forms of natural gold. Specimens of native gold in quartz are rare because the previous miners crushed and smelted all of the gold ore that they mined. Many fine specimens were processed and lost. It is found underground by hard rock miners in only a handful of locations in the world. Most of the world's production comes from a few mines in Northern California. This unique formation is very difficult to find because only small pockets of GOLD in QUARTZ are found 1500 to 3000 feet below the earth's surface. The natural veins of gold were formed with the by hydrothermal pressure deep within the earth millions of years ago. This Gold in Quartz is an Rectangular Flat Cabochon Cut with Beautifully Beveled Edges. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This Classic Art Deco ring has a very ornate design with beautifully cast details. This ring has a beautiful florentine finish (a hand engraved textured surface consisting if tiny engraved intersecting sets of parallel lines) highlighting the shoulders. This ring has a great solid back design. The dark areas on the gold in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections due to the difficulty in photographing the highly polished gold.
