This Antique SIGNED ESEMCO 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid Yellow Gold ring is set with an Amazing 10x8mm BRIGHT Natural TRUE RAINBOW Opal with ABUNDANT RARE RED/ORANGE with ELECTRIC GREEN/BLUE and GOLDEN FIRE. Black opal is the most rare and valuable of all opal. This is one of those rare opals that is even brighter in person than in the photos. Again this is opal has BRIGHT TRUE RAINBOW fire, that are visible across the opal. Also the luster of this opal is marvelous. Many opals only exhibit a couple of colors while this fantastic opal displays a RAINBOW of colors. As the photos show different colors are visible under different lighting conditions and viewing angles. This opal has fantastic depth of color. This all Natural Opal possesses depth of color that is simply amazing. This Amazing All Natural Opal has not been treated or color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. We took quite a few photos of this stunning opal under different lighting conditions to give an idea of the abundance and brightness of the fire and where it occurs. This Opal is an Oval Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This is a triplet opal where the brightest genuine & natural solid opal is mounted on backing of onyx or ironstone and then covered with a protective clear natural quartz crystal cap. This opal is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any cracks, nicks, scratches, or chips, This ring is also set with a Beautiful 10x8mm Natural Persian Turquoise Gemstone. This high quality Persian turquoise is a RICH BLUE COLOR. Persian Turquoise of the highest quality is called Angushtari and has been mined in Iran formerly known as Persia for over 5,000 years. The luster on this turquoise is superb. This is all natural Turquoise that is not color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. This Turquoise is an Oval Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This turquoise is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any cracks, nicks, scratches, or chips. The 10k Solid Yellow Gold Setting is classic 1920's Art Deco and has great bamboo motif shoulder details. The flip mechanism allows the gemstone bezel frame in the ring to click in each direction to lock either gemstone into place. The flip mechanism allows the gemstone bezel frame to flip to either gemstone giving you two different looks in one ring. This flip mechanism is in perfect condition and has not worn over time. This ring is signed "ESEMCO" which confirms it was manufactured by Shiman Jewelry of New Jersey established in 1906. Shiman Jewelry of New Jersey made exceptionally beautiful jewelry closing their doors in the early 1970's. This ring is from their line of 1920's-30's Art Deco Jewelry. Signed ESEMCO early jewelry has become quite collectible. The dark areas on the gold in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections due to the difficulty in photographing the highly polished gold. This ring is fully hallmarked "10k" and tests as and is guaranteed to be 10k solid gold.
