Up for sale is one of the more unusual Cocktail Rings we have had the opportunity to offer, an Antique 1920's Art Deco Natural RAINBOW Solid Opal Inlaid with Natural Persian Turquoise & Faceted GREEN/BLUE RARE Black Opal 14k Solid White Gold Filigree Gold Cocktail RARE Reversible or Flip Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This Antique 1920's Art Deco 14k Solid White Gold ring is set with a Beautiful 14.5x7.5mm Natural RAINBOW Solid Opal with Persian Turquoise Inlay as the top and bottom borders. This opal has RARE PINK/RED FIRE as well as areas of ELECTRIC GREEN/BLUE, ORANGE & GOLDEN FIRE. Again this is opal has RAINBOW fire, that are visible across the opal. Also the luster of this opal is marvelous. As the photos show different colors are visible under different lighting conditions. This All Natural Solid Opal has not been treated or color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. We took quite a few photos of this opal under different lighting conditions to give an idea of the brightness of the fire and where it occurs. This high quality Persian turquoise inlay is a RICH BLUE COLOR. Persian Turquoise of the highest quality is called Angushtari and has been mined in Iran formerly known as Persia for over 5,000 years. The luster on this turquoise is superb.This is all natural Turquoise that is not color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such, This Opal Inlay Gemstone is an Octagonal Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. The other side ia an Amazing 14.5x7.5mm RARE FACETED ELECTRIC GREEN & BLUE FIRE RARE BLACK Opal. This is a Spectacular Natural BLACK Opal Triplet with ELECTRIC GREEN & BLUE FIRE with Flashes of PURPLE. Black opal is the most rare and valuable of all opal. The fire in this opal changes depending on the viewing angle. This is a triplet opal where the brightest genuine & natural solid opal is mounted on backing of onyx and then covered with a protective clear natural quartz crystal cap. We took quite a few photos of this stunning opal under different lighting conditions to give an idea of the abundance and brightness of the fire and where it occurs. The waves and swirls on the opal in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections as the polished surface is difficult to photograph. This Opal is an Elongated Octagonal Faceted Cut. Both opal gemstones are in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any cracks, scratches, or chips. This 14k Solid White Gold Setting is classic Art Deco and has great architectural elements and reticulated filigree details. The flip mechanism allows the gemstone bezel frame to flip to either gemstone giving you two different looks in one ring. This flip ring flips vertically which is unusual because most flip rings we have seen flip horizontally The flip mechanism is this ring is not loose and locks into place securely.This 14k Solid White Gold Setting has nice hand milgrained details highlighting the filigree. Milgrain edging looks so beautiful, appealing and interesting because the beaded patterns is able to make the ring’s edge resemble the edge of a coin. A specialized jeweler's hand tool is used to create interesting texture that is said to resemble tiny beading or embroidery. This ring is in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION and will arrive ready to wear.
