Up for sale is a recent find from a large collection of Turquoise pieces acquired at Auction, an Antique 1920's Art Deco RARE Natural #8 Mine Nevada & Kingman Mine Birdseye Water Web Turquoise Intarsia Inlay Hand Engraved & Milgrained Solid Sterling Silver & 10k Rose Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This HEAVY 8.7 Gram (0.31 Ounce) Whopping Almost 1/3 Ounce Antique 1920's Art Deco Solid Sterling Silver & 10k Rose Gold Men's Ring is set with a Beautiful 16x13mm RARE Natural Turquoise Intarsia Inlay Gemstone. Intarsia is made by precise fitting together of polished gemstones into a single multi gemstone unit. All the turquoise in this intarsia is both Genuine & Natural and guaranteed as such. The center is RARE #8 Mine Turquoise of the Hand has Beautiful Sky Blue Color with a chocolate brown matrix. This is all natural Turquoise that is not color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. The #8 Turquoise mine in Eureka County north of Carlin Nevada was discovered in 1925 and first mined in 1929 until its depletion. The mine was closed as a result of the discovery of gold in 1976 when the Newton Gold Company claimed the area. In its prime, the Number 8 mine produced some of the largest nuggets of turquoise ever found. The sides are RARE Kingman Mine Birdseye Water Web Natural Turquoise. This is all natural Turquoise that is not color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. The Kingman mine in northwestern Arizona is one of the largest turquoise mines. Kingman blue is common, this Kingman is the very RARE Birdseye variety. The matrix pattern known as Birdseye or Water Web is beautiful and highly prized. This dark areas are natural pyrite inclusions. In the late 1880’s to the early 1900’s, Kingman Turquoise was mined by the Aztec Turquoise Co., the Los Angeles Gem Co., Arizona Turquoise Co., Southwest Turquoise Co. and Mineral Park Turquoise Co. The Kingman mine re-opened in September 2004 after being closed in the 1970’s. This Turquoise Inlay gemstone is Rectangular Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This turquoise is in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION free of any scratches, cracks, or breaks. This classic ring is Solid Sterling Silver Setting has 10k rose gold Vermeil accented sides. This classic ring also has great Hand Engraved details highlighting the rose gold shoulder elements with Hand Done milgrain accenting the bezel. Milgrain details look so beautiful, appealing and interesting because the beaded pattern is able to make the area resemble the edge of a coin. A specialized jeweler's hand tool is used to create interesting texture that is said to resemble tiny beading or embroidery.
