Late Period Art Deco Natural RED/ORANGE/GOLDEN MATRIX Kingman Mine Turquoise Hand Milgrained 10k Solid Yellow & RARE Green Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This Antique 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid Yellow & RARE Green Gold Men's Ring is set with a STUNNING 16x14mm RED/ORANGE/GOLDEN Matrix Natural Kingman Mine Turquoise cabochon. This Turquoise is natural and not color enhanced in any way. The Kingman mine in northwestern Arizona is one of the largest turquoise mines. Kingman blue is common, this Kingman is an OCEAN BLUE with an AMAZING RED/ORANGE/GOLDEN YELLOW Matrix not commonly found in most Kingman Turquoise. Natural Kingman is highly collectible. The pattern in this turquoise formed when water infiltrated the turquoise and then oxidized iron worked into the crevices. In the late 1880’s to the early 1900’s, Kingman Turquoise was mined by the Aztec Turquoise Co., the Los Angeles Gem Co., Arizona Turquoise Co., Southwest Turquoise Co. and Mineral Park Turquoise Co. The Kingman mine re-opened in September 2004 after being closed in the 1970’s. This Turquoise is a Domed Cushion-Shaped Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This Turquoise Gemstone is in PERFECT PRISTINE FLAWLESS CONDITION free of any chips, nicks, scratches or cracks. This Classic Ring is Beautiful 10k Solid Yellow & RARE Green Gold with Wonderful Hand Milgrained Details on the Shoulders of the Setting. Green Gold is a gold rarely used that is a bright yellow with a very slight green tint. Milgrain edging looks so beautiful, appealing and interesting because the beaded patterns is able to make the ring’s edge resemble the edge of a coin. A specialized jeweler's hand tool is used to create interesting texture that is said to resemble tiny beading. The ring has the circle G hallmark used by the William C. Greene Jewelry Company of Providence, RI established in 1849. The dark areas on the gold in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections due to the difficulty in photographing the highly polished gold. This ring is marked "10k" and tests as and is guaranteed to be 10k solid gold. (Again this ring is guaranteed to be Solid Gold not plated or layered) This ring is in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION and will arrive ready to wear.
