Up for sale is a recent Estate Auction find, an Antique SIGNED BELAIS of NY 1920's Art Deco LARGE Natural RAINBOW Opal Hand Engraved 10k Solid White Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This Antique SIGNED BELAIS of NY 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid White Gold ring is set with a BEAUTIFUL LARGE 18x13mm Natural RAINBOW Opal. This All Natural Opal has not been treated or color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. This is a solid natural opal that has been inlaid into an onyx cabochon. The border of onyx frames the opal beautifully, We took quite a few photos of this opal under different lighting conditions to give an idea of the abundance and brightness of the fire and where it occurs. The waves and swirls on the opal in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections as the polished surface is difficult to photograph. This Opal/Onyx Inlay is a Oval Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This opal is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any cracks, scratches, or chips. The interior of the ring is marked with the maker's mark of "BELAIS" which is the hallmark for Belais Brothers Jewelry of New York an extremely collectible and sought after vintage brand.
