Up for sale is a recent estate auction find, an Antique 1920's Art Deco LARGE Ruby Cabochon Hand 10k Solid Yellow Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This Antique 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid Yellow Gold ring is set with a Beautiful LARGE 16x12mm Ruby with amazing DEEP RED COLOR and NEAR PERFECT CLARITY. This ruby has FANTASTIC LUSTER. This ruby is a rectangular smooth top Cabochon Cut and really catches the light. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. The gemstone tests as a ruby on a Presidium Gem Tester and a reflectometer and is a high quality lab grown ruby. A Lab Grown Ruby has the exact same physical, optical, and chemical properties of a Natural Ruby meaning it is as hard and scratch resistant. The waves and swirls on the ruby in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections because the polished surface is difficult to photograph. This Ruby is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any chips, nicks, cracks, or scratches. This classic 1920's Art Deco ring also has great flared column details on the shoulders of the setting. This ring has a great ornate bracketed setting designed to allow light into the ruby.
