Up for sale is a recent find, an Antique 1920's Art Deco Natural RARE Orbicular Bloodstone 10k Solid White Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This Antique 1920's Art Deco Art Deco 10k Solid White Gold ring is set with a Beautiful 18x13mm Natural Orbicular Bloodstone Gemstone. This all natural Bloodstone also known as heliotrope has Beautiful RARE Red & Yellow Orbs with red drops of color in the dark green background. Orbicular bloodstone is unique and is a cross between bloodstone jasper and ocean jasper. The defining characteristics are the colorful orbs. This Bloodstone is all natural and has not been color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. This Bloodstone is on Octagonal Pillow Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. Bloodstone is dark-green variety of the chalcedony that has nodules of bright-red jasper distributed throughout. Bloodstone derives its name fro the way the polished gemstone shows red spots on a dark-green background that resemble drops of blood. We took quite a few photos of this bloodstone under different lighting conditions (daylight bulb full spectrum lighting & flash photos) to give an idea of the pattern in the gemstone. The waves on the bloodstone in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections as the polished surface is difficult to photograph. This Bloodstone is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of chips, nicks, cracks, or breaks. This Classic Art Deco ring has a very ornate design with beautifully cast details. The dark areas on the gold in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections due to the difficulty in photographing the highly polished white gold.
