Up for sale is recent find, a Vintage 1940's LARGE 6ct Faceted Baguette Ruby Hand Brushed 10k Solid Yellow Gold Men's Ring in MINT PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION. This Vintage 1940's 10k Solid Yellow Gold Ring is set with a Beautiful LARGE 6ct 12x10mm Ruby with amazing RED COLOR and SUPERB CLARITY. This ruby also has AMAZING LUSTER. This ruby is an Rectangular Faceted Baguette Cut with a large reflective table and beautiful scissor-cut faceted beveled sides that really catch the light. The gemstone tests as a ruby on a Presidium Gem Tester and a reflectometer and is most likely very high quality lab grown ruby. This gemstone has not been removed from the setting for testing so we cannot say definitively it is a natural ruby as it is most likely a very high quality lab grown ruby. A Lab Grown Ruby has the exact same physical, optical, and chemical properties of a Natural Ruby meaning it is as hard and scratch resistant. The waves and swirls on the ruby in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections because the polished surface is difficult to photograph. This Ruby is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any chips, nicks, cracks, or scratches. This classic ring has a beautiful hand brushed finish on the shoulders. A brushed finish is a hand done textured surface consisting if tiny parallel lines. The dark areas on the gold in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections due to the difficulty in photographing the highly polished gold.
