Up for sale is a recent Estate Auction find, a Vintage 1940's SIGNED RARE Natural Silver in Quartz & Diamond 10k Yellow & White Two-Tone Solid Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. This 7.2 Gram (0.25 Ounce) 1/4 Ounce Vintage 1940's SIGNED 10k Yellow & White Two-Tone Solid Gold ring is set with a FANTASTIC 13.5x11.5mm RARE Silver Ore Bearing Quartz gemstone. This silver ore bearing quartz is all natural and guaranteed as such. This natural quartz has BEAUTIFUL GLEAMING DEPOSITS of SILVER ORE. Silver Ore Bearing Quartz is one of the rarest forms of natural silver. Specimens of native Silver Ore Bearing quartz are rare because the previous miners crushed and smelted all of the silver and copper ore that they mined. Many fine specimens were processed and destroyed. This silver ore is made up of Silver, Nickel, Copper, Iron, & Cobalt. The natural veins of silver ore were formed by extreme pressure deep within the earth millions of years ago. This Silver Ore in Quartz is an Unusual Curved Triangular Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This ring also features a Single 2mm Antique Cut Diamond expertly bead set in a white gold mount. This type of antique single cut diamond has a larger table and a round girdle and no culet facet. A single cut diamond has 16 to 18 facets. This type of single cut is an early diamond cut dating to the 19th and early 20th century. The reason for the diamond to be cut in this manner is so that the light is brought in at such an angle that the vision which those gazing upon the diamond perceive is one of brilliance and fire. This diamond has very nice color and clarity and is guaranteed to be both Genuine & Natural. As far as clarity it is in the VS range. As far as color it is hard to say because it is mounted in white gold mount so our best estimate is that it is in the J-K range. The Silver in Quartz gemstone and the diamond are in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any cracks, nicks, scratches, or chips. This classic ring is signed "Siffari" which indicates it was made by Siffari Jewelry of Ontario Canada now known as Crescendo Jewelry. Siffari was established in 1941 and this is one of their early pieces. The dark areas on the gold in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections due to the difficulty in photographing the highly polished gold. This ring is fully hallmarked “10k” and tests as and is guaranteed to be 10k solid gold. (Again this ring is guaranteed to be Solid Gold not plated or layered) This ring is in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION and will arrive ready to wear.
