Up for sale is recent estate auction find, a Vintage !940's SIGNED Ullenberg Jewelry LARGE 11ct Orange Sapphire 10k Solid Yellow Gold Men's Ring in EXCEPTIONAL NEAR MINT CONDITION. This 7.4 Gram (0.26 Ounces) Over 1/4 Ounce Total Weight Vintage 1940's SIGNED Ullenberg Jewelry 10k Solid Yellow Gold ring is set with a Beautiful LARGE 11ct 16x12mm Orange Sapphire with amazing BRIGHT ORANGE COLOR and NEAR PERFECT CLARITY. This sapphire has AMAZING LUSTER. This sapphire is a rectangular smooth top Cabochon Cut and really catches the light. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. The gemstone tests as a sapphire on a Presidium Gem Tester and a reflectometer and is a high quality lab grown sapphire. A Lab Grown Sapphire has the exact same physical, optical, and chemical properties of a Natural Sapphire meaning it is as hard and scratch resistant. The waves and swirls on the sapphire in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections because the polished surface is difficult to photograph. This Sapphire is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION any chips, nicks, cracks, or scratches. This ring has a bracketed setting with mirror polished details on the shoulders The ring is signed "UJ" which indicates it was made by Ullenberg Jewelry of New York, a company that moved to Chattanooga mid-century and later became the Ullenberg Corporation.
